Deliciously moist black bean brownies made with Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix and black bean puree, topped with chocolate drizzle and toffee chips for a luxurious treat without eggs or oil.
Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup drained and rinsed Progresso™ Black Beans (from 15-oz can)
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup toffee chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and generously coat a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  • Place beans and water in a blender. Cover and blend on high speed for 30 to 60 seconds until smooth.
  • Combine the bean mixture with the brownie mix in a large bowl until fully incorporated. Spread the batter evenly in the pan.
  • Bake for 20 to 24 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out with moist crumbs attached.
  • In a small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips uncovered on high for 30 seconds; stir well. Microwave in 15-second increments, stirring each time, until the chocolate is smooth. Transfer the melted chocolate to a resealable plastic bag, partially seal it, then snip a small hole in one corner of the bag. Drizzle the chocolate over the hot brownies, then quickly sprinkle with toffee chips.
  • Allow the chocolate to rest for approximately 3 hours until fully set, then slice it into 4 rows by 4 rows before storing it covered.
