Indulgent layered dessert made with Betty Crocker® Brownie mix and rich chocolate cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (18 oz) Betty Crocker™ Premium Brownies Ultimate Fudge
  • Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
  • 3 tablespoons coffee-flavored liqueur
  • 3 bars (3.5 oz each) dark chocolate with toffee bits and caramelized almonds candy, unwrapped, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 can (7 oz) whipped cream topping
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and grease a 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. Prepare and bake the brownies according to the instructions on the box, using water, oil, and egg. After baking, use a fork to poke holes in the brownies and pour the liqueur over them, letting it soak into the holes. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat chopped candy and 1/4 cup of the whipping cream uncovered on High for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, pausing to stir after 1 minute, until chocolate is completely melted. Allow it to cool for about 45 minutes. In a chilled large bowl, whip the remaining 1 1/4 cups of whipping cream with an electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the chocolate mixture.
  • Break up brownies into bite-sized chunks and distribute evenly among 36 (2-ounce) shot glasses. Drizzle chocolate cream mixture evenly over the brownies. Finish each dessert with a dollop of whipped cream on top. For an extra touch, decorate with sugared cranberries and fresh mint leaves.
