Indulgent red cabbage dish bursting with bold flavors. Sweet & sour combo for easy yet stunning impact. A vibrant must-have on your table.
Ingredients:
  • 150 g quality chorizo
  • 2 teaspoons fennel seeds
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 red cabbage (1kg)
  • 1 x 410 g tin of sliced pears in natural juice
Instructions:
  • Dice the chorizo and place in a large casserole pan over medium heat until oils release. Add fennel seeds. Slice the red onion and cook until softened and fragrant. Prep the red cabbage, adding wedges to the pan with red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper. Cook covered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add tinned pears with juice and cook for another 10 minutes until cabbage is tender.
