Decadent homemade cocoa with a dollop of marshmallow crème and a touch of spice.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup marshmallow creme
Instructions:
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, gently heat sugar, cocoa, water, cinnamon, and nutmeg while stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 4 minutes, continuing to stir constantly.
  • Gradually pour the milk into the cocoa mixture and heat gently on low. Divide the hot cocoa among 6 mugs and generously top each with 2 tablespoons of fluffy marshmallow creme.
