Christmas sangria

Get festive with a holiday sangria cocktail.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large red apples or green apples
  • 250g fresh cherries, pitted
  • 500g fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 3 strips orange rind
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 82.50 ml orange-flavoured liqueur
  • 750ml bottle shiraz rose, chilled
  • 750.00 ml chilled lemonade
  • Ice-cubes, to serve
Instructions:
  • Slice each apple into thin 3mm rounds. Use a 4cm star-shaped cutter to create apple star shapes.
  • Combine apple, cherries, strawberries, orange rind, and cinnamon in a large jug. Pour in liqueur, rose, and lemonade. Stir well, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Before serving, gently incorporate ice cubes into the refreshing sangria to chill it to perfection.
