Chunky Chocolate Peanut Butter Thumbprint Cookies

Easy thumbprint cookies with chocolate and peanut butter filling.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Mix cookie mix, oil, water, and egg with a spoon until a soft dough forms. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of water if the dough is too stiff.
  • Place rounded teaspoons of dough on an ungreased cookie sheet, ensuring they are 2 inches apart. Press your thumb deeply into the center of each one.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until just set. Let cool for 1 minute before transferring from the baking sheet. Fill each indentation with roughly 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter.
