Irresistible crispy pastry strips with molten chocolate dipping sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry, thawed
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 2.50 gm ground cinnamon
  • 126.25 gm cream
  • 50g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 20g butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 220C conventional or 200C fan-forced, then line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  • Cut each sheet of pastry into 10 strips. Twist each strip 4-5 times and place them on a prepared tray. Bake for 14 minutes or until they are golden and puffed.
  • In a large shallow dish, mix together sugar and cinnamon. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine cream and chocolate. Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes until smooth and well combined.
  • Dip warm pastry strips in melted butter and then coat generously with cinnamon sugar.
  • Enjoy alongside a luscious chocolate dipping sauce.
