French toast is a tasty breakfast made by dipping bread in an egg and milk mixture, then frying until golden brown. It's perfect with syrup or powdered sugar, ideal for using up stale bread. Our Cinnamon Batter-Dipped French Toast elevates the classic with a crispy cinnamon crust that won't get soggy, delivering a warm spice taste in every bite.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 10 slices bread
  • Powdered sugar, if desired
  • Maple syrup, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat griddle or skillet and grease if needed.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and eggs in a shallow dish until smooth. Dip bread into the batter, allowing excess to drip back into the dish. Cook bread on a hot griddle.
  • Sear for 1 to 2 minutes per side until beautifully golden. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with syrup before serving.
