Irresistibly sweet and cinnamony French toast sticks - a crowd-pleasing breakfast favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf bread, sliced
  • 6 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup white sugar, divided
  • 6 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Trim the crust from the bread and slice each piece into thirds.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, 1/4 cup sugar, 4 teaspoons cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Submerge bread in the luscious egg mixture until fully saturated.
  • In a greased skillet over medium heat, cook 6 sticks at a time until golden and cooked through, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining sticks.
  • Combine the 1/4 cup of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon in a separate bowl. Coat each stick in the mixture until fully covered. Arrange on a platter and enjoy!
