Cinnamon sugar swirl bread rolls filled with creamy goodness, baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup white sugar, divided
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 18 slices bread, crust removed
  • 0.75 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, and egg yolk in a medium bowl and beat until smooth.
  • Combine 3/4 cup sugar with cinnamon in a small, shallow bowl.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture on one side of each bread slice. Roll them up like jelly rolls, then dip into melted butter. Coat them evenly with the sugar mixture. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Cover with foil and freeze for at least 1 hour until frozen.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Remove the cover from the frozen bread rolls and bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until they turn crusty and golden brown.
