Overnight baked treats: irresistible, moist, rich. A sure crowd-pleaser for family and friends.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons milk
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk until it begins to bubble. Take it off the heat and mix in the butter until it melts. Stir in the water and allow the mixture to cool to lukewarm.
  • Combine the milk mixture, yeast, white sugar, salt, eggs, and 2 cups of flour in a large bowl, stirring well to combine. Gradually add the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  • Divide the dough in half and roll each piece into a 12x9 inch rectangle. Combine cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl. Spread each dough piece with half of the butter and the cinnamon sugar mixture. Roll up the dough and seal with water.
  • Using a sharp knife or dental floss, slice each roll into 12 pieces. Arrange the slices on two greased 9x13 inch baking pans. Cover and allow the rolls to rise until almost doubled in size, approximately 1 hour. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
  • Prepare a luscious frosting by blending confectioner's sugar, cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Slowly incorporate milk until the frosting is perfect for spreading. Generously cover the slightly warm cinnamon rolls with this delectable frosting.
