Start the day right with cozy cinnamon waffles to delight your loved ones.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup cinnamon apple pie filling (from 21-oz can)
  • 1 cup maple-flavored syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
Instructions:
  • Combine the pie filling and maple syrup in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High, uncovered, for 1 to 2 minutes until warmed. Set aside.
  • Preheat waffle iron, and if needed, lightly brush with vegetable oil or cooking spray before pouring batter for each waffle.
  • Mix waffle ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Pour batter onto the heated waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions, then close the lid.
  • Bake the waffle for 4 to 5 minutes or until steam stops. Gently remove it and repeat with the rest of the batter. Serve the waffles with syrup.
