Cinnamon-Honey "Fried" Ice Cream

Make quick and easy fried ice cream without frying.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups chocolate or vanilla ice cream
  • 1 1/2 cups finely crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch™ cereal
  • 4 tablespoons honey
Instructions:
  • Form 6 (1/2-cup) scoops of ice cream on a cookie sheet. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Place the cereal in a shallow pan and evenly drizzle 2 tablespoons of honey over it. Mix well with a fork until crumbly.
  • Roll one scoop of ice cream in cereal mixture, ensuring it's completely coated. Place it back on the cookie sheet and freeze until firm for approximately 20 minutes. Optionally, cover and freeze until ready to serve.
  • Place the 2 tablespoons of honey in a small microwavable bowl and microwave on High for 20 to 30 seconds until warm. Serve by placing ice cream balls in individual dessert dishes and drizzling each with 1 teaspoon of warm honey.
