Cinnamon sugar-coated almonds, roasted to perfection for a festive snack.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 teaspoon cold water
  • 4 cups whole almonds
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) and lightly grease a 10x15-inch jellyroll pan.
  • In a spacious bowl, whisk the egg white gently. Stir in the water and continue whisking until frothy but not stiff.
  • Coat nuts thoroughly by stirring.
  • Combine the sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl. Sprinkle the mixture over the nuts and toss them until coated. Spread the coated nuts evenly on the prepared pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven, stirring occasionally, until golden for about 1 hour. Let cool and store nuts in an airtight container.
