Create a flavorful cinnamon-thyme marinade with garlic, lemon pepper, and olive oil to enhance your baked chicken.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground dried thyme
  • 2 pounds bone-in chicken pieces
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line a 13x9-inch baking dish with aluminum foil.
  • Combine olive oil, cinnamon, salt, lemon pepper, garlic powder, and thyme in a small bowl, then massage the mixture onto the chicken to coat. Place the coated chicken pieces skin side down in a baking dish.
  • Roast in a preheated oven for 35 minutes, flip the chicken, and cook for an additional 20-25 minutes until no longer pink at the bone and juices run clear. Use an instant-read thermometer - it should register 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) near the bone. Take out of the oven, tent with foil, and let the chicken rest for 15 minutes before serving.
