Smoked sausage with onions and colorful peppers, a vibrant and easy weeknight meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (14 ounce) package Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage, diagonally cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cups red and green peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes, making sure to turn it occasionally until it's nicely browned.
  • Saute onions, peppers, and oregano in olive oil until tender, approximately 3 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese off the heat.
