Indulgent chocolate pancakes - a versatile treat for any time of day!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 3 medium bananas, sliced
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  • 3/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Combine topping ingredients in a 1-quart saucepan, excluding the bananas. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until boiling. Remove from heat and delicately mix in bananas until evenly coated. Keep warm.
  • Preheat griddle to 375°F and lightly grease with cooking spray, vegetable oil, or shortening. In a medium bowl, whisk egg until foamy, then mix in milk and butter until smooth. Fold in remaining pancake ingredients until well combined.
  • Pour a generous 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto a sizzling hot griddle. Let them cook for about 1 1/2 minutes until they puff up. Flip and cook until both sides are golden brown and edges are dry. Serve with your favorite toppings.
