Indulge in tropical flavored scones that will keep you coming back for more!
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup firm butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1/4 cup whipping (heavy) cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can (8 ounces) pineapple, tidbits, well drained
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F and lightly coat a cookie sheet with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine Bisquick mix and sugar. Use a pastry blender or 2 knives to cut in the butter until crumbly. Gently mix in the rest of the ingredients.
  • Shape the dough into a 10x7-inch rectangle on a cookie sheet. If the dough is sticky, lightly coat your fingers with Bisquick mix. Cut the dough into 12 rectangles without separating them, then sprinkle with sugar and coconut to taste.
  • Bake in the oven for 12 to 14 minutes, or until scones are golden brown. Gently separate them and serve while warm.
