Indulgent coconut custard pie with rich, creamy filling, made with eggs, sugar, butter, milk, and sweet coconut.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1 tablespoon flaked coconut
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Using an electric mixer on low speed, combine sugar, butter, and eggs in a large bowl. Gradually add flour, then mix in milk 1/2 cup at a time. Stir in 1 cup coconut flakes and vanilla until well blended.
  • Pour the delectable filling into the awaiting unbaked pie crust, then generously sprinkle 1 tablespoon of delightful coconut flakes on top.
  • Bake until the filling is firm, for 40 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven.
