Indulgent coconut-chocolate-almond cookies made with Betty Crocker® mix and creamy cream cheese frosting—a decadent treat for guests.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut, toasted
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix and cocoa in a large bowl until mixed well. Mix in the butter, egg, and almond extract until a soft dough forms. Carefully fold in the almonds. Use a rounded tablespoon to drop dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 12 minutes until firm. Transfer from baking sheet to cooling rack. Allow to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Combine frosting and coconut extract in a medium bowl. Use the mixture to frost the cookies, then sprinkle with coconut.
