Whip up a Japanese favorite, coffee jelly, at home using brewed coffee, gelatin, and sugar for a refreshing sweet treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package unflavored gelatin
  • 2 cups fresh brewed coffee
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions:
  • Assemble all the ingredients needed.
  • Combine gelatin and hot water until the gelatin dissolves. Transfer to a saucepan, then mix in coffee and sugar. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  • Transfer the coffee mixture into a 9-inch square or 7x11-inch baking dish. Refrigerate until completely set, about 6 to 7 hours.
  • Serve the coffee jelly by cutting it into cubes.
