Sip on this honey-infused drink to break a fever and reduce flu symptoms. Enjoy 2-3 cups daily for relief.
Ingredients:
  • 185mls (3/4 cup) boiling water
  • 1 peppermint tea bag
  • 1 lemon, rind finely grated, juiced
  • 18.00 gm honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1 small garlic clove, finely chopped (optional)
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
Instructions:
  • In a mug, steep peppermint tea bag in water for 1 minute. Remove tea bag and stir in lemon rind, lemon juice, honey, ginger, garlic (if using), and cayenne pepper. Enjoy hot.
