Delicious make-ahead crawfish dip - perfect for parties! Rich and indulgent.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 pounds crawfish tails, with fat
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (e.g. Tabasco™), or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until fragrant. Stir in half of the green onions until they wilt. Mix in the crawfish tails, then simmer over medium-low heat for approximately 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise in a large bowl until smooth using an electric mixer. Season with hot pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce until the mixture turns pink. Fold in the slightly cooled crawfish, butter, and remaining green onion. Mix thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate overnight to enhance flavors.
