Experience smooth and less acidic coffee by cold-brewing coarse coffee grounds with cold water for a deliciously refreshing taste.
Ingredients:
  • cheesecloth
  • coffee filters
  • 0.5 pound coarsely ground coffee beans
  • 4.5 cups cold water
Instructions:
  • Place coffee grounds in a spacious container, then gently drizzle water over the grounds.
  • Seal the bowl with plastic wrap and allow to steep at room temperature for 18 to 24 hours.
  • Place a few layers of cheesecloth in a strainer over a pitcher. Pour the coffee through the cheesecloth into the pitcher. Remove and discard the grounds. For a smoother brew, strain the coffee through coffee filters. Chill in the refrigerator.
