Energizing fruit compote for a healthy start, packed with vibrant flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) honey
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) water
  • 1/2 tsp Angostura Aromatic Bitters
  • 1 mandarin, peeled, segmented
  • 1 beurre bosc pear, peeled, cut into wedges
  • 1 orange, peeled, segmented
  • 4 fresh dates, halved lengthways, pitted
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over low heat, mix honey, water, cinnamon, and bitters. Stir and cook for 2 minutes until warmed. Add mandarin, pear, orange, and dates. Continue cooking and stirring occasionally for 2 minutes until fruits are heated and slightly softened.
  • Divide the mixture evenly into individual serving bowls. Serve right away.
