Confetti Chocolate-Oatmeal Cookie Mix

Delicious chocolate oatmeal cookie mix, great for gifting, ready in just 50 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup M&M's® minis chocolate candies
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Transfer the mixture into a 1-quart food-safe jar, gently tapping it to pack everything in. Layer oats and M&M's™ minis chocolate candies on top. Seal the jar tightly and wrap as desired.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine the jar contents, 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine, 2 tablespoons water, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 egg until mixed. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are set. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
