Versatile mushroom salad, enjoy hot or cold using easily accessible button mushrooms.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (16 ounce) packages sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 splash dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté mushrooms until they are tender and the juices have reduced, which should take about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Combine minced garlic with sliced mushrooms, season generously with salt and pepper, and sauté for 2 minutes. Pour in white wine and simmer for 1 more minute. Finish by mixing in chopped dill and parsley.
