Quick and easy sweet spread perfect for cookies or gifting, made in 10 minutes with a food processor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 packages (8.8 oz each) decorative caramelized biscuit cookies
  • 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Using a food processor, finely grind cookies. Stop the processor, then add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Blend until mixed. With the processor running, gradually pour in molasses and oil through the opening.
  • While the food processor is running, gradually add water until the mixture reaches a creamy consistency similar to peanut butter, adjusting the amount as needed.
  • Transfer the decadent cookie butter into a sealed airtight container and chill in the refrigerator for freshness.
