Double cookie butter spice cookies - irresistibly soft and delicious.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons cookie butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, softened butter, egg, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, and 1/2 cup of cookie butter in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Shape the dough into 24 (1 1/2-inch) balls and arrange them 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are set and lightly golden brown. Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Microwave 2 tablespoons of cookie butter in a small microwavable bowl on High for 20 to 25 seconds until smooth and melted. Stir in powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of milk. If needed, add the remaining milk 1 teaspoon at a time until you reach a smooth, drizzling consistency. Drizzle the mixture evenly over the cooled cookies.
