Cookies-and-Milk Cheesecake Brownie Bars

Decadent triple-layered bars: fudgy brownie base, creamy cheesecake center, and gooey chocolate chip cookie topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • 1 tablespoon Gold Medal™ All Purpose Flour
  • Butter and egg call for on cookie mix pouch
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Prepare the brownie batter following the instructions on the box, then spread it evenly in the pan. Bake for 19 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to beat cream cheese until smooth. Blend in sugar, then add 2 eggs and vanilla until just combined. In a separate medium bowl, mix cookie mix, flour, softened butter, and 1 egg until a soft dough forms.
  • Smoothly spread the cheesecake layer mixture over the hot brownie base, then evenly drop teaspoonfuls of cookie dough over the cheesecake layer.
  • Bake for 30 to 33 minutes until the cheesecake layer is set and the cookie is golden brown. Let it cool for 1 hour on a rack, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving. Keep covered in the refrigerator.
