Delicious chewy cookies made with breakfast cereal, chocolate chips, and nuts. Easily customizable to make more or less cookies. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup canola oil
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups cornflakes cereal
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease the cookie sheets.
  • Combine canola oil, margarine, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla. Mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Stir in cornflakes, oats, chocolate chips, and walnuts. Drop onto cookie sheets by heaping teaspoonfuls.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Let the cookies cool briefly on the sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
