Ingredients:
  • 3 cups white cornmeal
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix cornmeal with boiling water until blended. Then, add sugar and salt and blend it all together using an electric mixer.
  • Combine the milk and eggs, then mix them into the cornmeal mixture. Blend in the melted butter until well combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown.
