Cornbread, sausage, biscuits, and hard-boiled eggs create a flavorful stuffing for a 10-15 pound turkey.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 (8 ounce) package corn bread mix
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 0.125 pound pork sausage
  • 2 large hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Follow package directions to bake a delicious 8x8-inch pan of cornbread and prepare an ample amount of biscuits to yield a combined total of 4 cups once crumbled. Let both the cornbread and biscuits cool, then crumble them, measure out 4 cups of each, and set them aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine rich chicken broth, fragrant onion, crisp celery, and creamy butter in a small pot. Bring to a lively boil, then simmer until vegetables are tender.
  • Combine 4 cups crumbled cornbread, 4 cups crumbled biscuits, sausage, chopped eggs, sage, salt, and pepper in a 2-quart casserole dish. Pour broth-vegetable mixture over and stir until combined.
  • Place your creation in the warm oven for 30 to 45 minutes to achieve the perfect bake.
