Creamy warm corned beef dip with deli corned beef, cream cheese, sour cream, and Swiss cheese - perfect party appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
  • 3 (2.5 ounce) packages deli-sliced corned beef (such as Buddig ®), diced
  • 1.5 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf unsliced Italian bread
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a skillet, warm oil over medium heat. Sauté onion until tender, for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine onion in a large mixing bowl with cream cheese, sour cream, and corned beef. Add mayonnaise, Swiss cheese, and garlic powder; mix until well combined.
  • Prepare your bread bowl by carefully removing the top of the loaf. Generously tear out the center of the bread, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges. Save the torn bread pieces for dipping later if desired.
  • Fill the bread bowl with the corned beef mixture, then securely wrap it in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
  • Cook the dip in the preheated oven until fully cooked and bubbling, for 1 to 1 ½ hours.
