Green beans sautéed with crispy bacon, onions, and garlic - a tasty side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup chopped uncooked bacon
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, for about 10 minutes. Drain the cooked bacon on paper towels.
  • In a saucepan, bring together the bacon, green beans, onion, butter, chicken broth, garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer covered over medium heat until the beans are tender, for 15 to 20 minutes.
