Delicious apple fritters made with fresh fall apples, perfect for breakfast or snack.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or more to taste
  • 2 medium apples - peeled, cored, and chopped, or more to taste
  • 1 quart oil for frying, or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until well combined. Add the apples, milk, and egg, and stir until incorporated.
  • Heat oil in a deep-fryer or Dutch oven until it reaches 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Fry spoonfuls of batter in hot oil until golden brown, approximately 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
