Indulge in mini crab cake bites with fresh chives and spices, baked to perfection. Serve with zesty lemon-garlic sauce for a delightful appetizer at your next gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay™ seafood seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 containers (8 oz each) refrigerated pasteurized lump crabmeat, cleaned
  • 2/3 cup Progresso™ plain panko crispy bread crumbs
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Lemon wedges
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare a large cookie sheet by lining it with cooking parchment paper.
  • Combine mayonnaise, egg, chives, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, seafood seasoning, and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Gently mix in crabmeat and bread crumbs until evenly combined. Shape mixture into 36 (1 1/2-inch) balls using a measuring tablespoon and place them on a cookie sheet.
  • Bake until golden brown and heated through (16-20 minutes). Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • In a small bowl, mix the Lemon-Garlic Sauce ingredients until well combined. Serve the bites with the sauce and lemon wedges.
