Crispy baked grouper topped with cheesy crabmeat crumbs, bell peppers, jalapeño, and green onion.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese flavored bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped yellow bell pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 0.25 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, drained and flaked
  • 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 (6 ounce) fillets grouper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it nice and hot for cooking.
  • Combine bread crumbs, red pepper, yellow pepper, green onions, jalapeño, butter, crabmeat, and mozzarella cheese in a medium bowl. Place grouper fillets in a 9x13-inch baking dish in a single layer. Spread the crumb mixture evenly over the fish.
  • Cook in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the fish easily flakes with a fork. For thin fillets, broil for 10 minutes as an alternative to baking.
