Delicious juicy pork chops with a home-cooked touch, perfect for truck drivers craving comfort food. Deep fry or pan fry for a tasty meal on the road.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 4 lean boneless pork chops
  • 0.5 (16 ounce) package saltine crackers, crushed
  • 1 cup oil for frying
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon
Instructions:
  • Combine eggs and milk in a bowl until smooth. Rinse pork chops under water, coat with cracker crumbs, then dip in the egg mixture followed by another coat of cracker crumbs. Ensure a thick coating on the chops.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the chops until golden brown on both sides. Pour in enough water to almost cover the pork chops, dissolve the chicken bouillon cube in the water. Lower the heat to medium-low, cover, and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until the pork chops absorb most of the liquid.
  • Skip the water and bouillon cube. Heat frying oil to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Fry coated chops for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper right after for moist and delicious chops.
