Tangy cranberries and sweet apples baked with a crispy pecan oat topping - perfect for a festive side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups peeled and chopped apples
  • 1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups chopped pecans, divided
  • 1.5 cups white sugar, divided
  • 0.75 cup butter, melted, divided
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine apples, cranberries, a generous amount of pecans, a touch of sugar, and a luxurious amount of butter in a bowl; then distribute evenly into two 8x8-inch baking dishes.
  • Combine 1 cup pecans, oats, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup butter in a bowl; crumble over the cranberry mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the dish is bubbling and the topping is lightly browned, about 30 to 40 minutes.
