Delicious cranberry-orange bread with a rich sour cream base - perfect for any occasion, whether it's breakfast, brunch, or a snack. A hit with my in-laws at Thanksgiving!
Ingredients:
  • 2.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1.75 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup mandarin orange segments, drained
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease two 8x4-inch loaf pans.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and white sugar in a large bowl. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly. Gently fold in cranberries and oranges.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, sour cream, vanilla, and orange extract in a bowl. Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pans briefly, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
