Tangy cranberry filling with orange zest, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a flaky pie crust with a rich eggy custard.
Ingredients:
  • 1.3329999446869 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 1.25 cups cranberries
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together sugar, flour, orange zest, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add and beat in the eggs, then stir in the melted butter. Gently fold in the cranberries before pouring the mixture into the crust.
  • Place in the oven that has been preheated to the desired temperature and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the filling is firm.
