Cranberry Sauce

Tangy cranberry sauce with brown sugar and orange juice.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
Instructions:
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, cook brown sugar and orange juice over medium heat until boiling, stirring often. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
  • Add cranberries and stir gently until they start boiling. Boil for approximately 5 minutes, stirring often, until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens. Lastly, mix in the orange peel.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for approximately 3 hours until cold.
