Cranberry stuffing balls

Delicious Christmas stuffing - irresistibly addictive side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 625.00 ml stale white breadcrumbs
  • 125.00 ml dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh sage
  • 50g butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C. Slice each piece of prosciutto lengthwise into four strips.
  • In a non-stick pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic, and cook for 3 minutes until onion is soft. Transfer to a bowl. Stir in breadcrumbs, cranberries, egg, sage, butter, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  • Form 16 balls from the mixture using tablespoons. Wrap each ball with a slice of prosciutto. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until browned and heated thoroughly. Serve and enjoy!
