Elevate your dessert with a tangy fruit-filled bar on a buttery crust bursting with honey-glazed cranberries and apricots.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch square pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. Use an electric mixer on low speed to blend the crust ingredients until it resembles coarse crumbs. Press the mixture into the pan.
  • Bake for 28 to 30 minutes until lightly golden brown. While it's baking, combine filling ingredients in a medium bowl.
  • Take out the partially baked crust from the oven and lower the oven temperature to 325°F. Evenly spread the filling over the crust.
  • Continue baking for an additional 8 to 10 minutes until the mixture is fully set and has a glossy appearance. Allow it to cool completely for about 45 minutes. To make bars, cut into 16 equal pieces by cutting into 4 rows by 4 rows.
