Betty Crocker's magic cookie recipe combines sugar cookie mix with dark chocolate chunks, dried cranberries, and sparkling sugar. Ready in just 20 minutes, these irresistible cookies are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for drop cookies
  • 1 bag (6 oz) 70% cacao bittersweet chocolate chunks (about 1 1/4 cups)
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 teaspoons coarse sparkling white sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Prepare the dough according to the instructions on the pouch for drop cookies. Mix in chocolate chunks and cranberries. Spoon dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving 2 inches of space between each. Sprinkle sugar on top before baking.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set. Let cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to cooling racks. Allow to cool completely for about 30 minutes before storing in an airtight container.
