Easy and tasty crab sushi roll with imitation crab, cream cheese, and cucumber.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 sheets nori seaweed sheets
  • 0.25 cucumber, peeled and sliced lengthwise
  • 2 pieces imitation crab legs
  • 0.5 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
Instructions:
  • Assemble all your ingredients.
  • In a saucepan, let the rice and water come to a boil over high heat. Lower the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed. Add rice vinegar and salt, then cool completely before serving.
  • Place seaweed sheets on a clean work surface. Dampen hands with water and spread out the cooled rice evenly on each sheet, making sure to leave a 1/2-inch gap along one edge. Lay out strips of cucumber, imitation crabmeat, and cream cheese on top of the rice in a straight line opposite the gap. Roll up the sushi tightly starting from the toppings and ending at the exposed seaweed edge.
  • Slice each roll into 5 or 6 pieces using a sharp wet knife, and serve with minced ginger on the side.
