"Whip up decadent coffee cream puffs for a stunning dessert."
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee granules or crystals
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Boil water and butter in a 2 1/2-quart saucepan. Add flour, stir until dough forms a ball, then remove from heat. Beat in eggs until smooth, then drop by scant 1/4 cupfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, spacing 3 inches apart.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until puffed and golden. Allow to cool for about 30 minutes away from any drafts. Remove the top third of each puff and gently remove any soft dough strands.
  • In a chilled medium bowl, whip the whipping cream and instant coffee granules with an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Fill the puffs with the whipped cream mixture and replace the tops. Chill in the refrigerator.
