Creamy asparagus pasta with butter, garlic, light cream, linguine, and lemon juice. Ready in 30 minutes for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pint light cream
  • 1 pound linguine pasta
  • 1 lemon, juiced
Instructions:
  • Bring a pot of water to boil. Cook asparagus until bright green and slightly crisp, for 3 to 4 minutes; then drain.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add asparagus and garlic to the hot butter and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes. Then, stir in cream and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • While waiting, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente, 8 to 10 minutes, then drain and transfer to a serving dish.
  • Mix fresh, zesty lemon juice into the asparagus blend, then generously drizzle it over steaming hot pasta.
