Quick and comforting creamy bacon and ham soup with corn and red pepper.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen corn
  • 1 cup half-and-half cream
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped onion
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped sweet red pepper
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cold water
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup Pure Farmland® Bacon, fully cooked, chopped
  • 1 cup Farmland® Cubed Ham
  • 1 sprig Snipped fresh dill
Instructions:
  • Combine flavorful chicken broth with sweet corn, rich cream, aromatic onion, and spicy red pepper in a large saucepan, and bring it to a boil.
  • Combine smooth flour, water, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Gradually stir the mixture into the saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring, until thickened.
  • Add the delectable bacon and flavorful ham, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until the vegetables reach your preferred level of tenderness.
  • Garnish with dill to enhance the presentation and flavor to your preference.
